FULL DESCRIPTION: Welcome to the Qatar 4Wheelers! We are a family- and community-oriented group of off-road enthusiasts who enjoy exploring the deserts of Qatar to enjoy the natural beauty of the country and meet like-minded friends.

We hold these events once per month for the purpose of introducing interested people to our off-roading club, the Qatar 4Wheelers. We host member-only drives almost every weekend and explore all areas of Qatar with a focus on the Inland Sea dunes. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the group must first attend an Introduction drive to learn our membership rules - even if you are a skilled off-roader.

People of all driving levels, genders, and nationalities are welcome. For those who are inexperienced we will also teach basic skills of driving in sand. You just need to show that you are willing to follow our rules and follow the marshal's instructions.

Before you come to the meeting point, you must deflate the tires on your 4WD vehicle to 12-15psi. The tyre shop next to Sealine Beach Resort will do it for you, otherwise please deflate yourself. There is often a line at the tire shop so allow extra time and arrive early.

It takes at least an hour to get to Sealine from Doha. We leave on time and we will update this event page if the plan changes.

The minimum equipment required for the Introduction event is:
1. Four wheel drive vehicle (with 4H and 4L settings)
2. Qatar driving license
3. Auto registration (Istmara)
4. Spare tire
5. Jack
6. Fire extinguisher
7. Shovel
8. First aid kit

Recommended safety gear:
1. Gloves
2. Battery booster cables
3. Base plate for jack
4. cargo net to secure items in the car

Membership Information: 

To join group and our member-only drives, your 4x4 must first be equipped with all the equipment listed above and some extra recovery gear. We will explain the importance of all items at the desert introduction drive.

The following extra gear is required for full members:
1. Snatch strap
2. Rated shackles
3. Air compressor (160 Lpm minimum)
4. Tire deflator tool

As a member of Q4W, you will receive benefits including discounts at camping shops, auto-repair shops, tyre shops, radio shops, and more. Numerous retailers in Doha sponsor our group and provide discounts to our members.
